A very Pikmin X-mas

Work in progress. I hope the person(s) I'm going to give this to isn't looking right now. I think this is the only time I've used lensflare in a digital painting too...



Finished Product, Cover



Inside the card. Not really finished, but I need to do some other things so I rushed it a bit.




Apparently, lens flare, even for a little circle, is an atrocious crime. To avoid punishment and further scolding, I changed it. Can't tell? Good :) Also added a few more touch ups.



Finally got finished with the cowboy... boy. At least I think he's done. I posted an image of the progress made over time.





Btw, Merry Christmas everyone! Ah damn. I gotta do Jeff's challenge now. *goes back to work*

Mini Cowboy update

More details and contrast to the colors, but he still needs work. Much better than the last one, huh? His face looks flat though, so that needs fixing.

I'll update more later.

Some "graphic" stuff

Did a mp3 player mockup in a few hours for a friend of a friend. I don't have the flash version yet, but this is the end product. Also made some logos for an anti-domestic violence club at SJSU.

Matte Painting Practice - pass #1

Works in progress. Messed around with combining pictures today. It's kind of tough finding images that will work. I want to paint things in eventually, but this is what it looks like right now. It was funny how I would zoom in and wonder why it looked so pixelated. Then I realized it was in the original file size (500 x 300) doh....

Apartment Room

Ah, I forgot to post these up! My lighting skill need work, but here is a group of shots of an apartment room I started. It looks more like a dorm room though. I want to make a small shelf with little figurines (it'd be fun).

2D sprite work

I did some sprite work when I was in the Game Development Club. It was challenging in itself, being a noob and all, learning how to draw and animate something so small. Clean up, especially. Enlarging a sprite = bad times... And I still have more to learn.
