My first and second pass at a black and white figure (er, face). I picked this guy because I liked the values. They were stronger than some of the others we could pick from. I feel like I'm pretty much done with this guy, but I might go back and tweak some more before the end of the week. My color painting will be one of the female photos.

pretty good! i would pick more of the highlights though. if you look at the photo there is a lot of pure white going on.
